BC is coming off a home victory over Boston University, 67-49, at Conte Forum on Monday night. Seton Hall defeated Marist, 76-62, on Tuesday night to improve to 2-0.

- The change in the game times is due to the evening kickoff for the Buffalos football game on Saturday.

- Kelly Hughes became the program's all-time leader in three-pointers as she hit her 254th in the win over Boston University. Hughes needed seven three's coming into the 2016-17 season. She hit three vs. Hartford and four vs. BU.
- Hughes broke the record held for just eight months by former teammate Nicole Boudreau. Boudreau broke the record when she hit her final shot of her career in the ACC Tournament against NC State in March.
- After the game against BU, Hughes credited her coaches and teammates to help her reach the record. She also credited Nicole Boudreau, who she called one of the best players she ever played alongside.
- Another impressive statistic throughout the senior's career is her field goal percentage through the four seasons. She shot 39 percent as a freshman

-The Eagles have started one senior, a sophomore, a redshirt sophomore and two freshmen in the first two games. It is the youngest starting lineup for the Eagles since the 2011-12 season. That season BC started a junior and four sophomores.

- On November 17, 2000, Boston College opened up the season with an 80-64 victory over Tennessee Tech at the Chevrolet Classic in East Lansing, Michigan. Rachel Byars led BC with 21 points and 11 rebounds while Nicole Conway chipped in with 16 points and 12 rebounds. The Eagles proceeded to beat Michigan State in the second game of the tournament, 63-61. Byars was named the tournament MVP wile Amber Jacobs was named to the All-Tournament team.
