Eagles Take First and Second in Quad-Meet

The University of Chicago hosted quad-meet last week between Chicago, Wheaton College and Olivet Nazarene University. The men had a terrific meet overall, taking first place with 554 points. The women put up a tough fight and came in second overall behind Chicago, 525-493.

- Josh Williams, Mckenzie Cole, David Howard and Conor Chamness took first in the 200 yd. medley relay with a time of 3:30.50.
- Madeline Simone grabbed second in the 1,000 yd. freestyle with a time of 11:06.75.
- Erika Freeman took first place in the 200 yd. freestyle, clocking in at 1:57.50.
- Anthony Richardson and Michael Hinton took first and second finishing at 1:44.97 and 1:46.31. Richardson also took first in the 1,000 yd. freestyle with a time of 9:32.33.
- Colin Derdeyn took first in the 50 yd. freestyle, clocking in at 21.42.
- Alison McDonough grabbed second place in the 200 yd. breaststroke with a time of 2:32.91.
On Friday, November 4th the Eagles will host a tri-meet with Keene State and Maine.Â
