The Eagles are coming off a tough one-point loss at Syracuse on Wednesday. BC tied the game with 1:49 to play. With nine seconds to play, Briana Day blocked rookie Mariella Fasoula's (18 points) shot. Syracuse missed a jumper with three seconds left but Cornelia Fondren grabbed the rebound. Cornelia Fondren was fouled and calmly hit one of her shots to seal the win for Syracuse.
Georgia Tech (12-9, 2-6 ACC) hosted No. 3/3 Notre Dame on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets fell, 54-42, despite holding the Irish to 12.5 percent from the three-point arc. Tech also hit 14-of-18 from the foul line while the Irish shot just 41 percent (10-for-24).
