Poore, redshirt sophomore RHP Luke Fernandes, junior LHP Jesse Adams and Nicklas combined to throw the Eagles' first shutout, allowing just two hits and two walks, while striking out five.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Eagles scored the first run of the game in the second as Shaw singled to center and advanced to second on a passed ball. Freshman Donovan Casey moved him to third with a sacrifice bunt and junior Stephen Sauter plated him with a groundout to second.
BC struck again in the seventh. Shaw led off with a single to right and with one down, the Big Green went to the bullpen for RHP Chris Burkholder. Sauter singled through the right side to put two on and junior Joe Cronin scored Shaw with a double to left.
