Freshman Donovan Casey came through with an RBI base hit to right to score Cronin off right-hander Nick Cubarney.
· Northeastern got one back in the bottom of the inning. With a man on second and two down, Josh Treff singled through the left side to plate a run before Gorman ended the inning with his second strikeout.
