Senior Day Special for BC Football

Eagles set to celebrate a group of seniors who's laid the foundation for the program's growth
Saturday will be a special day at The Heights as the Boston College football team honors and recognizes its senior class during the annual Senior Day festivities at Alumni Stadium right before the Eagles host NC State at 12:30 p.m.
Earlier this week, head coach Steve Addazio commended the seniors for the groundwork they've laid to help the program grown, as well as the leadership they've demonstrated through both the good times and tough patches: "There are guys out there battling and they're good guys who love football. They've done a great job with the young guys trying to set a culture. I told them that after the game. For a lot of reasons, we ended up being a real young football team this year. ... These guys are going to be a part of really setting a great foundation as we move forward here ... The uniqueness of this year will be that this group will be the group that really bridge it forward. You watch our team. They play really hard. We don't play really efficiently. Obviously. But we play really hard. They're tough. We battle. And I think these guys have set that forward because that is kind of the standard here."
Before Saturday's game, seniors Steven Daniels, Alex Howell, Justin Simmons and Harris Williams spoke about what Senior Day - and their time at BC - means to them.Â
