With kickoff to the final home game of the season for the Boston College Eagles quickly approaching, the focus of today's news is on junior linebacker Matt Milano and freshman wide receiver and specialist Michael Walker.

Rich Thompson of the Boston Herald explains how Matt Milano is playing up to his predecessors while Eric Avidon of the MetroWest Daily News writes that Milano's presence is making a mark for the BC defense.

Michael Vega of the Boston Globe also discusses the rise of freshman Michael Walker, who is quickly becoming a difference maker on special teams for the Eagles.

And after Saturday's game at Alumni Stadium vs. NC State, Boston College will have a bye week to prepare for the nationally ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Eagles aren't the only ones getting prepared however, as the ground crew at Fenway Park is transforming "America's Most Beloved Ballpark" into a gridiron for the first football game at Fenway in nearly 50 years.
