HOW IT HAPPENED
- 19' – EAGLES GOAL: Simon Enstrom broke down the center channel and played a ball out wide left to Isaac Normesinu who gained the end line. The winger sent a low cross in and Trevor Davock connected right off the post and backheeled the ball past Hoya goalkeeper TJ Marcinkowski for the 1-0 lead
- 22' - Arun Basuljevic got free at the top of the box for the first-time shot through traffic, but Len Zeugner comes up with clearance to snuff out the threat.
- 23' – Zeiko Lewis beat the left back on the dribble, got deep in the channel and sent a waist-high cross in for Enstrom who saw his half-volley from the 16 saved
- 33' – GU's Brandon Allen was left unmarked in the box, but his shot was well wide after the cross found him through traffic from the left sideline
- 48' – Lewis got free and unmarked 12 yards out but saw his sure goal blocked by Georgetown's Joshua Yaro who slid in at the last second to shut down the Eagles' bid to go up 2-0
- 60' – HOYAS GOAL: Georgetown equalized off a corner kick. Keegan Rosenberry got on the end of the Christopher Lema's service and his half-volley from just inside the 18-yard box finds space to beat Alex Kapp
- 61' – Lewis had a bid to put the Eagles back on top, taking a shot pass from Enstrom on the edge of the attacking third, but his left-footed bid was saved by Marcinkowski's left hand
- 75' – Mohammed Moro came up with a big defensive stop in his own six-yard box after the Hoyas put a dangerous centering pass in from the left
- 85' – Enstrom broke out on the counter and got free for a shot, but his attempt was narrowly deflected for a corner.
