Kent tallies a pair, Burt posts a career high and Carpenter chips in three points to move Eagles to 17-0-0 on the season
BOSTON – Kenzie Kent scored a pair of goals and Alex Carpenter scored one and added two assists to help lead the second-ranked Boston College women's hockey team to a 6-1 win at No. 4 Northeastern on Saturday afternoon.
Andie Anastos added one goal and one assist, while Dana Trivigno and Kali Flanagan each chipped in goals. Defensemen Lexi Bender, Megan Keller and Toni Ann Miano each registered two assists in the win.
BC built a 5-0 lead before the Huskies responded with a power-play goal, but the Eagles added a 4v3 power-play score to bring the final score to 6-1. Northeastern saw a pair of potential goals reviewed and called back late in the third period.
Katie Burt made a career-high 36 saves to back Boston College (17-0-0, 11-0-0 HEA) to the win on the road. Northeastern (11-4-1, 7-2-0 HEA) used a pair of goaltenders who combined for 17 saves in the loss.

- 1st, 5:05 // 1-0 – BC GOAL: Andie Anastos won the faceoff and drew the puck back to the right point where Kali Flanagan threaded her slapshot through traffic to beat Huskies goaltender Sarah Foss.
- 1st, 5:45 // 2-0 – BC GOAL: Off another faceoff, Alex Carpenter's win fell to Megan Keller at the point whose shot was saved by Foss. But the puck bounced out to the slot where Kenzie Kent pounced for her fifth goal of the year.
- 2nd, 9:15 // 3-0 – BC GOAL: Lexi Bender played Toni Ann Miano along the point and the sophomore ripped a slapshot toward goal that Dana Trivigno tipped in past Foss.
- 2nd, 10:53 // 4-0 – BC GOAL: On the edge of the crease, Kent scooped up the rebound of Haley Skarupa's backhand, which Carpenter set up with a short feed from the slot as Skarupa skated in front from the right.
- 2nd, 12:09 // 5-0 – BC GOAL: Anastos won the faceoff and drew it over to Grieves on along the wall who laid it off to Miano. Miano skated a few strides and sent a pass in toward the slot, where Anastos re-directed it up over Foss.
- 3rd, 00:43 // 5-1 NU GOAL (PPG): In the slot, Paige Savage tipped Kendall Coyne's shot from the point past Katie Burt while the Eagles were down a man. Denisa Krizova started the play by setting up Coyne at the point.
- 3rd, 15:52 // 6-1 BC GOAL (PPG): Skating a 4v3, the Eagles played the puck around the slot before Carpenter rifled a shot past replacement goaltender Brianna Storms from near the edge of the faceoff circle. Bender and Keller were credited with assists.

- With the win, BC leveled its all-time record against Northeastern to 34-34-6 since the Eagles elevated to varsity D1 status in 1994-95
- Boston College has won the last eight meetings between the two teams
- Since the start of 2014-15, BC is 6-2-0 against teams ranked in the top 5, including a pair of wins against Northeastern this season
- Kenzie Kent scored her fifth and sixth goals of the season, and the 12th and 13th goals of her career … the goals were her second and third in the last two games … it is her third career two-goal game
- Kali Flanagan scored her third goal of the season with her first period strike … it was her sixth career goal and her first goal since Nov. 7 … all three of her goals this season have come on the road
