HOW IT HAPPENED
SOUND BITES
"I think it's always hard to end a season with a loss because we tend to forget about some of the great accomplishments we had over the past four months. The team met the demands of the coaching staff, worked incredibly hard for each other and reached some of their goals they set back in August.
"I can't say enough great things about this senior class. I have been with them for all four years of their Boston College field hockey careers and the growth they have shown both on the field and off have made me so proud. They have set a great example for the younger players and I truly believe this class will leave its mark on the culture of this program long after they have graduated. They gave everything they had and as a coach, I could not have asked for anything more. I will miss coaching these guys tremendously."
-Head coach Kelly Doton
