BC Highlights
- Boston College women's cross country team finished in fourth place at this year's NCAA Northeast Regional, trailing Brown by only four points. The Eagles finished with 143 points; the top two finishers were Providence (49 pts.) and Syracuse (92 pts.).
- The Eagles top finisher was senior Laura Hottenrott. Hottenrott finished seventh in a field of 256 runners, crossing the line in 20:48.5.
- BC's next finisher was freshman Isabelle Kennedy who took 16th place. She finished the race in 21:06.1.
- Rounding out BC's top-3 was senior Danielle Winslow who finished in 18th place with a time of 21:11.6, the second fastest 6K of her season.
- Other Eagle's with impressive finishes were senior Margaret Mullins (49) and junior Amanda Rickert (53).
- Laura Hottenrott, Isabelle Kennedy, and Danielle Winslow each garnered the title of All-Regional for finishing in the top-25.
- Thirty-one teams will be selected as a team to compete at the NCAA Championships. With their fourth place finish, the Eagles hope to be one of the 31 teams headed to the Championships with an at-large selection. Individual selections for the NCAA Championships will be released after the teams have been selected.
