Eagles Sailing Recap: Week 5

On the weekend of October 17th, Boston College Sailing competed in two team races and two individual regattas.
In the Norman Reid Team Race, the Eagles finished in first place with a 12-0 record. This was a 420 regatta and each Boston College pairing found success on the day, with no pair losing a single race. The skippers were: Henry Dumke, Harry Koeppel, and Peter Lynn while the crew consisted of Tara Ferraris, Emma Perry, and Emily Vasiliou respectively.
The Eagles also competed in the Lane Trophy regatta, which was also a team race. Boston College finished in first place with a record of 7-1, with Dumke, Koeppel and Wade Waddell finding success at skipper with Kyla MacLennan, Katherine Downey, and Alice Bohannon at crew.
Boston College also competed in the Captain Hurst Bowl Regatta hosted by Dartmouth. The Eagles finished in first place of the A division, fourth in the B division and first place in the C division. Raul Rios '16 , Allison Ferraris '17, and Katja Sertl '16 performed well for the Eagles at this regatta.
Boston College Sailing also competed in the Yale Women's Inter-conference Regatta hosted by Yale. The Eagles finished in twelfth place of the A division and eleventh place of the B division at the regatta.
