Eagles Sailing Recap: Week 4

On the weekend of October 3rd Boston College Sailing competed in four regattas.
Boston College freshman Isabella Loosbrock competed in the NEISA Women's Singlehanded Championships and finished third in the competition. Because of her successful race, Isabella will represent Boston College in the Women's NEISA Singlehanded National Championships.
Boston College also competed in the Hewitt Trophy Regatta hosted by Dartmouth. The Eagles finished sixth in the A division, fourth in the B division, and ninth in the C division of the regatta.
The Eagles had sailors competing in the George Warren Smith Trophy Regatta hosted by MIT. The Eagles finished in first place of the A division and third place of the B division with sailors Jake Rizika and Lily McGrath performing well.
Finally the Eagles had sailors competing in the Danmark Trophy Regatta hosted by the Coast Guard Academy. Boston College finished in second place of the A division, falling only to the host, Coast Guard. The Eagles also came in second place of the B division, again falling only to the host.
