
Women's Hockey Shut Out by No. 7 New Hampshire

DURHAM, N.H. - The Boston College women's hockey team (12-6-3, 2-9-3 Women's Hockey East) dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 7 New Hampshire (25-6-2, 12-2-0 W.H.E.) at the Whittemore Center on Friday evening. The Eagles struggled offensively, registering just six shots on goal.
The Eagles could not record a shot on goal in a period where New Hampshire's Stephanie Jones put her team on the board. Jones also added a goal in the second session. Janine Goulet and Randi Hickox each tallied a Wildcat score as well.
New Hampshire goalie Jen Huggon recorded her 25th career shutout in the six-save performance, while Boston College netminder Lisa Davis made 38 saves.
The Eagles and Wildcats will meet again in the final match of the regular season, on Sunday, Mar. 2, at the Whittemore Center.
