Volleyball Rallies to Beat Central Connecticut

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College volleyball team (13-15) got back on a winning track Wednesday evening in Power Gymnasium by defeating Central Connecticut State University, 3-1.
The Eagles captured a 1-0 lead after winning the first game, 31-29, but the Blue Devils took the next round, 30-26. Boston College came back to win the third. The fourth game was a more daunting task for the Eagles. After trailing by as much as eight points, the home team rallied to edge out the Blue Devils, 32-30.
Dara Blandino came off the bench and made a huge impact for the Eagles down the stretch. Rachel Bach, Liz Aron and Kim Carlson each hit for double-digits on the night.
The Boston College win marks the first victory in five matches. It will look to extend the winning streak as they travel to Georgetown on Friday for an 8 p.m. contest.
