
Volleyball Tallies Third Straight Win

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College volleyball team amassed its third straight win Friday evening against Providence College in Providence, R.I. The win gives Boston College a .500 record at 11-11, 2-3 versus BIG EAST opponents. The Friars are 2-20 on the season.
Boston College dominated the match, winning the games by scores of 30-25, 30-22 and 30-26. The Eagles had a .312 hitting percentage, with senior captain Kim Carlson leading the way with .636. Rachel Bach contributed 19 kills.
The Friars were led by Katie Fleming, who put forth a kill-dig double-double effort for the match.
Boston College returns to Power Gymnasium in Chestnut Hill on Wednesday, Oct. 23 for a non-conference meeting with Sacred Heart University at 8 p.m.
