PITTSBURGH (AP) - Kim Makie scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds as No. 24 Boston beat Pittsburgh 81-57 Saturday.
The Panthers (6-9, 3-1 Big East) got within nine points in the second half, but failed to score in the final 10:53.
The Eagles (12-3, 3-1) were 19 of 21 from the free-throw line.
Brianne Stepherson scored 18 points for Boston and Jessalyn Deveny had 12.
Pittsburgh freshman Haley Harguth had a career-high 21 points, including seven 3-pointers. She also had two rebounds and two steals.
Laine Selwyn had 17 points for the Panthers. Bettina Love had 10 points and eight rebounds.
