CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - - Eric Olson (Oakland, Calif.) went 5-for-8 with two RBIs on the day to lead Boston College to a split with host Pittsburgh Saturday at Trees field. The Panthers scored four runs in the first en route to a 8-6 victory in the BIG EAST series opener, handing Andy Sullivan (Winchester, Mass.) his first loss of the season (6-1). The Eagles claimed a 9-4 win in the nightcap after a 25-minute rain delay in the second to tie a school record for conference wins in a season (12) and secure the fifth seed.
