BOSTON (AP) - Alissa Murphy scored a season-high 24 points, Cal Bouchard added 19 and Jamie Cournoyer had 18 as No. 19 Boston College beat Pittsburgh 85-54 on Saturday.
The Eagles (17-4, 6-1 Big East) rebounded from an 84-77 loss to top-ranked Connecticut Wednesday that snapped their school-record 12-game winning streak.
Monique Toney scored 13 points and Mandy Wittenmeyer added to pace the Panthers. It was Pittsburgh's fifth loss against a ranked opponent this season.
The Eagles shot 58.6 percent on the way to a 44-29 halftime lead.
The score was close for the first 6 1/2 minutes before a 3-pointer by Bouchard triggered a 33-10 BC run over nine minutes.
After a 3-pointer by Murphy gave the Eagles a 33-21 edge, the lead fluctuated between 12 and eight points until Bouchard nailed a 3-pointer with two seconds left in the half.
BC used a 15-2 run midway into the second half to open its biggest lead of the game, 74-40, with just under 10 minutes left. It never fell below 22 points the rest of the way.
The Eagles were without forwards Becky Gottstein and Kim Mackie, who both usually play a lot of minutes. Gottstein is sidelined for the rest of the regular season with a stress fracture of her right ankle. Mackie is day-to-day with a sprained right ankle.
