CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) - Allison Curtin scored 22 points and Susan Blauser had 20 as No. 15 Illinois routed No. 18 Boston College 73-42 Monday night in the third-place game of the Women's Preseason NIT.
Boston College shot only 24 percent in the first half and fell behind 37-19. Tauja Catchings scored 10 of her 13 points in the first half for Illinois (3-1).
Becky Gottstein scored 12 points for Boston College (2-2), which committed 26 turnovers. Curtin grabbed 11 rebounds for Illinois.
