Ten Eagles Earn Hockey East All-Academic Team Honors

Molly Barrow was named a Distinguished Scholar for having qualified for the All-Academic team in each of her four seasons of varsity play.
WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Ten student-athletes from the Boston College women's hockey team have been named to the 2019-20 Hockey East All-Academic Team, as announced Tuesday by the league.
Each student-athlete achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or better in each of the two academic periods during which she was actively competing.
Molly Barrow was named a Distinguished Scholar for having qualified for the All-Academic team in each of her four seasons of varsity play. Barrow, who graduated in May as a Biology major, was one of 18 student-athletes across the league to earn the Distinguished Scholar accolade. The Eagles' alternate captain also earned her fourth ACC Academic Honor Roll spot earlier this month.
Olivia Finocchiaro, Maddy McArthur and Kelly Pickreign were each honored to the All-Academic team for the second consecutive year.
Hockey East set a league record this season with 175 female student-athletes on the All-Academic Team. Below is a full list of BC's honorees to the Hockey East All-Academic Team for the 2019-20 season:
